Can performance chips be used with this system?

When we talk enhancement chips, we are usually talking about chips that add torque and horsepower. Performance is NOT synonymous with fuel economy.
Some chips can be added to enhance the air/fuel ratio. If any of these chips actually lean the fuel, then this would help.
